Position Summary: The Chief Financial Officer (CFO) serves as a key member of the executive team and provides effective operational and programmatic leadership within the organization. The CFO directly supervises the accounting and finance functions and is a resource on all financial matters for the organization. Reporting directly to the President/Chief Executive Officer (CEO) of CMR, the CFO assists the executives and directors on all strategic and tactical matters as they relate to financial reporting, budget management, cost/benefit analysis and business forecasting.. Essential Functions:. Participate as a key member of the executive leadership team in setting the strategic direction for the combined companies. (CMR/AnSR/AMR). Contribute a big-picture point of view to the overall operations and future vision of the companies.. Act as a mentor and partner to each of the business unit leaders, providing information and expertise relevant to their needs and operations.. Develop and stay current with a strategic understanding of our businesses and the industries in which we do business, and create analytic models and processes appropriate to each.. Develop goals and processes within the accounting and finance functions, and lead the teams in achieving desired results.. Act as a visionary and communicate proactively regarding changing conditions, opportunities and potential issues.. Monitor banking activities of the organization and ensure adequate cash flow to meet the organization's needs.. Participate in developing new business. Specifically, assist the sales team in identifying and evaluating new customer opportunities, the drafting of prospective pricing and programmatic budgets, and determining cost effectiveness of prospective service delivery.. Ensure adequate controls are in place and that substantiating documentation is appropriate and available to support all tax filings and independent audits.. Oversee the management and coordination of all fiscal reporting activities for the organization including organizational revenue/expenses, balance sheets and forecasting reports.. Develop and maintain systems of internal controls to safeguard financial assets of the organization and coordinate the activities of independent auditors and tax advisors.. Qualifications. Possesses advanced knowledge of financial software systems (e.g. Sage, Biznet, etc.).. Education/Experience:. Bachelor's Degree in accounting, finance or a related field is required. Master's degree in a business related field, or MBA is preferred. Certified Public Accountant (CPA) licensure is required. 8-10 years of relevant experience at a senior level within a privately held business is required
